Hairdresser near Gloucester Road Tube please?

Thinking of treating myself to a blow wave ahead of a black tie event on Monday night. Am staying near Gloucester Road tube station. Anyone know any hairdressers within walking distance please? I know a lot of hairdressers here close on Mondays, so might be pushing my luck. Don't want to pay more than £20 - is that unrealistic in London - just for a blow wave, no cut. I had a look on yell and there are hundreds so was hoping for some local recommendations!
Thanks

i used to go to a french one (i think) but that was in the early 90s when i worked there wasn't too expensive then

thought it might be a bit optimistic! So what should I expect to pay for a blow wave in that area?

Are you staying at a hotel or with a friend? Why not ask front desk or your friend?

There is a Toni & Guy on Sloane Square - which is not so far away. Also, Richard Ward in Duke of York complex on King's Road. Can't think of anything closer. Also think you will pay more than 20 for that area.

Thanks earlybird. Staying at hotel, when I phoned was told to email them but had no response yet. Good idea re Toni & Guy,they are reliable, or else I'll take a walk around when I get there and see if I can find anywhere!

Have you googled?

Hairdressers London and the area?

you might be better off going to Kensington High Street, or if you have £££££s there is always Harrods down the road. I reckon you'll pay nearer £50 in SW7 or SW1 though.

Thanks honestfriend, I know I could google to find lots of hairdressers in the area, but was hoping for personal recommendation. (there are loads of hairdressers that would come up on google search in my home area that I wouldn't go to). I certainly wouldn't pay £50 for a blow wave so am realising I will just have to do it myself!!! Thanks all.

You can usually get a model cut for nothing or very little with Tony and Guy - I went to the one near Knightsbridge.
