My skin is normally really dry but now as the winter weathers here my face is getting more dry and soreish, can anyone recommend something to help? I currently use 3 layers of a lancome moisturiser for very dry skin but not working!

I use Eve Lom TLC cream - it is expensive but lovely and rich. You only need a little bit.
Failing that , the waitrose bottom butter is good but you end up smelling like a box of chocolates!

Olive oil really helps my dry skin. I baste my face lightly before bed and use Nivea during the day. I tried all sorts of expensive moisturises over the years, but this is by far the best for my very dry skin.

Avene skin recovery cream wonderful stuff, Boots sell it. Does what it says on the tin!

I was going to suggest the Waitrose baby bottom butter too, or the Liz Earle Superskin moisturiser. But maybe you need to be drinking more water/eating more essential fatty acids - maybe try taking evening primrose supplement, or something, to help your skin from within?

Decleor products are amzing for very dry skin. I use the rose something oil and night balm, pricey but well worth it
