Because I think I have the look of Maggie Philbin to me.

Er, how it always looks. What am I supposed to do? .

Actually that's not true. I towel-dry it and brush it. Does that count as "something"?

bluebump · 27/11/2008 13:39

All my highlighted bits go all curly and my natural brown bits stay limp and straight. Not a pretty sight, it takes a lot of work to get it looking good.

hoppybird · 27/11/2008 13:43

It is very fine, straight and long, and is full of static and extremely fly-away. I usually put mousse/volume spray on it and plait it overnight to keep it from tangling and make it wavy and non-static.

I actually have a pic of myself with washed and left hair (and no make-up) - I've put it on my profile for a bit.

Long - with some hairspray I'm ready to go..

ThePellyandMe · 27/11/2008 14:34

Well its a bob anyway but if I do nothing to it it looks like one of thse really really bad bobs with the top stuck to my head, completely flat and the bottom bits sticking out at random angles.

hazeyjane · 27/11/2008 14:37

Ugly Betty

I have got a cupboard full of 'product' because I haven't got a clue what would improve it.

Oh and dd2 is scared of the hairdryer so blowdrying is out of the question.

ShowOfHands · 27/11/2008 14:40

I do nothing to my hair. Wash it once a week maybe, very occasionally brush it. Looks like hair mostly.

ohdearwhatamess · 27/11/2008 14:43

A frizzy, tangled mess.

Doesn't look that much better when I have done something to it.

Bobbiewickham · 27/11/2008 14:44

A fanny.

PinkTulips · 27/11/2008 15:11

normally manicly frizzy to the point where i have to tie it up at all times as it's a disaster but the preg hormones seem to be doing their job for the last couple of weeks and it's gone lovely and shiney and wavey.

i thought it was the fact that dp has been taking pity on me and blowdrying it for me after i wash it but he hasn't done it since last weekend and i'm still able to wear it down without frightening small children today

Colditz · 27/11/2008 15:16

Some big curls and a bit of frizz.

this but brown and not as neat

Colditz · 27/11/2008 15:17

I have stopped brushing mine after I wash it and for the most part it has rewarded me with less frizz.

yomellamoHelly · 27/11/2008 15:23

Well I do brush it - but that is all I do and it looks good. Do pay (a lot) for a really good cut every 10-11 weeks though which makes a huge diference imo. Is my one luxury.

samsonara · 27/11/2008 15:34

Like this, tina hair, it just puffs out and sticks out like that, so I scrunchie it, or I can't see where I'm going, and yes I have those grey streaks coming through too.

BikeRunSki · 27/11/2008 16:53

Much nicer than if I try to style it. It is nataurally thick and curly and dries in ringlets if I do absolutely nothing to it. Even better if I don't wash it either.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 27/11/2008 16:56

It kind of just flops and lolls about a bit, very flat, very fine, a few kinks here and there just to finish it all of - lovely

BitOfFun · 27/11/2008 16:58

Frizzy fluffy mess, with a curly fringe. I could never go without at least blowdrying that bit, and I don't think I left the house before frizzease was invented.

DontCallMeBaby · 27/11/2008 17:04

Well, I do occasionally do nothing after washing it, quite intentionally - it's a shortish bob, and if I stick it behind my ears it dries quite neatly, doesn't look great, but not awful either. However if it dries like that and I forget and remove it from behind my ears - Miss Hoolie.

southeastastra · 27/11/2008 17:04

mine is like a toddler when it's been on a bouncy castle

sadbarratthomeowner · 27/11/2008 17:05

Uneven waves with overall frizz

nowwearefour · 27/11/2008 17:12

fruitful. i am with you. how does anyone have any time to do anything other than that?!

DrNortherner · 27/11/2008 17:14

Well I have been ill this week and sporting the unwashed look all week

It is frizzy, wavy and I have a cap fringe cause each time i've gone out in public I've shoved a cap on.

I so need a grooming session tonight.

sagacious · 27/11/2008 17:17

A slightly less volumised/shiny version of my usual chin length bob
