The Holy Grail - searching for some cheap post baby jeans

Has anyone found a pair of jeans that would look good on a size 14, but with a size 16 post two baby belly? I need something to go over my tummy, cos although its shrunk, its so soft that anything cutting in around my hips gives that awful bulging. So probably a high waisted? I'm going to try to shop, but am so out of practice I want to have a list of places to try?

Any jeans experts out there?!

I loved some I got from Next a few months ago - they are just the boot legged ones for 25 pounds - got them in the v dark blue/indigo - but the waistband is quite high and v flattering. I was amazed as Next jeans never used to fit me - but maybe they have changed their standard measurements??? They also do some high waisted ones in the same colour and style. Hope that helps!

The New Look Hula ones come up pretty high, I think. Only a tenner.

I have the same problem as you! I have that dreaded bit of overhang from my c section so need fairly high jeans to hide it in. I have got a pair of the New Look Hula ones which are fab, and a pair of Primark black jeans which are bootleg at the bottom which seems to counter balance my muffin tops!

OK New Look and Next easy to get to, I can try to get a shopping session in, if I can get someone to hold the baby. Ollie - I know what you mean about Next - never used to suit me, then suddenly I found loads of trousers/jeans there that worked. But New Look for a tenner sounds great.
