Purple clutch bag

Does anyone know where I could get a nice purple clutch bag for about £30. The cheapest I've found so far was £79 which seems a bit extreme for a work "do"! I like one by Anya Hindmarch but that's about £300! Any ideas welcome!

where are you Helly? I saw a gorgeous purple clutch bag in one of those little independent gift shops in SW london. DP and I toyed with buying it for his sister but he decided she was more blue and green than purple.

I live in Hampshire but work in London 4 days a week so couldpotentially get to SW London at lunchtime.

The one I saw was kind of softish - not metallic, with a lovely little clasp on the front. It's this shop: Sugar Bag Blue. I am not sure if they still have the purse though - but you could try calling them?

Thanks for that - I work very close to Waterloo so no really decent shops nearby (I have bought stuff at the Monsoon there though) but good for the train home!

Earlsfield is 14 minutes by tain to Waterloo so might actually be possible. But I'd definitely call them first - it's a teeny little shop so I'd feel desperately guilty if you turned up there and they didn't have it.

There's a nice Ollie & Nic one up on Ebay at the moment. I cant do links but if you search Ollie & Nic you will see it in the list. I love their bags, have got a lovely cream leather one that always gets compliments!

I have got an absolutely gorgeous purple clutch in the softest, most buttery eelskin - made by Becksondergaard (A Danish design duo) - got mine at Mrs Robinson in East Dulwich, but have also seen them online if you google. A bit over budget, think it was about £50 - but gets loads of comments and is just divine.

I saw a real cheapy one in Peacocks. Its a large oversized envelope clutch and I think it was a tenner.
