TopShop Style Advisor...what to expect?

I am being treated by DH to a session with a TopShop style advisor tomorrow, for my upcoming birthday. Well, I know the session is free but he's letting me get some new clothes. I am VERY excited , but I'm not sure what to expect and how much input I need to give them. I'm not shopping for a specific occasion just for a few new bits and bobs that will add a bit of vavavoom into my existing wardrobe.

Has anyone ever done one of these sessions before? What did you end up with? Did they pressurise you to buy lots? Was it a little awkward? Did you get to sip champagne and read trashy mags whilst they whisked round the shop collecting all the clothes needed to transform you into a trendy, shiny fantastically magnificint version of your former self........cos that's what I'm kind of hoping for....

I went to one of these last sat at Oxford Street we treated my friend as a bday present, she had £100 to spend from us and added £156 herself!! so she had a good spend.
When u 1st get there they do a consultation with u asking what u wear, like etc. She then goes on the shop floor for half hour picking loadsa stuff u might like, and u go out too then meet back at the changing room (theres a special section for sylist customers u dnt ave to queue lol) u then just basically go through the rail and try bits on and she accessorises u and advises u. U can say if u dnt like something, and u r not pressurised into buying (Altho i do think they would be extremely pissed if u bought nothing at all!)
Ur pnly ment to bring 1 person in with u altho there was 6 of us,also got told she was having her hair done which didnt happen but got £15 to spend in the cafe. BEWARE we had a very disturbing situation with a sandwich in there!
No u dont get to sip champers lol just free cold water, and the mags arent that trashy.
Was defo a good day out tho,too busy for a sat tho, have a gr8 time let us know how it goes!
