where can I find a belt for DS 20m?

He's mostly wearing pants (has rejected nappies), and all his trousers are much too big, so they fall right down, giving him terrible builders bum, and then he trips and falls over too. So I need something to keep the trousers up - needs to undo quickly (not a buckle) to make potty trips easy. Where should I look? Either online or real shops - I had a quick trawl and couldn't find anything suitable.

I bought some 'snake' belts, the stretchy elastic ones from ebay a while ago. Not sure if they are still there, i'll have a look

here they are, dead cheap too

Braces???

littlefrog · 24/11/2008 19:00

fantastic! That's EXACTLY what I was looking for (I think - I can't quite work out how they fasten!)

braces are a good idea too, but I just associate them so much with wide city boy types (and ds is so wrapped up in jumpers etc. in our cold house that it'd be a fuss getting them clipped back on after he's peed.

They have an 's' shaped clip that loops easily into the other bit.

But because they are elasticated, they can just pull their trousers up and down with out bothering to undo the clasp.
