Coat for a toddler, not pink, not anoraky, not costing the earth?

DD needs a new coat. I'm trying to find something warm, but not a padded anorak type thing. We don't do pink.

I love the Boden duffle coats, but £54 is a bit out of our price range - was thinking more £30 TBH. Has anyone seen anything that might fit the bill?

Fimbo and herbie - I really liked the links but sadly none of those were available in DD's size .

H&M always do lovely coats for toddlers. Or soemthing like this? www.vertbaudet.co.uk/baby-nursery-maternity-clothes/Baby-Girls-Wool-Coat.aspx?ProductId=V7020 63072&DocumentId=V387&CompanyId=V&Path=2817/2920/2997&source=

Also, Jojomamanbebe do duffle coats, about £37 and you get 10% mumsnet disc.

Fimbo · 24/11/2008 13:27

This?

Fimbo · 24/11/2008 13:30

They have this in 18-24 mths

Fimbo · 24/11/2008 13:31

this in both sizes

angelene · 24/11/2008 13:36

DD has this, the photo really doesn't do it justice, the lining and hood lining are red, it is gorgeous! It comes up quite big.

However, it is dry clean only (it was bought by my child-free sister

GAP have fabulously warm coats.
We don't do pink either
It's called Gap 'warmest coat' and is down-filled- dd is always toasty whatever the weather. Last year's coat was brown, this years' is beige- however I do get them from ebay as they are £40 brand new, and they last really well- very good quality, wash and dry well.
OliveOil always has those ones too.
They still go for 15-20 on ebay, but you can resell them next year.
If she's 18-24 go for a 2year size. DD is in 2-3 and her gap coat is 3y size.

just put pic on my profile if you want to see style!

PerkinWarbeck · 24/11/2008 13:47

Eachpeachpearmum - that coat looks lovely, and your DD is beautiful. I have a 30% off voucher for the GAP (I can email to everyone if you don't already have it!) so might just have a look in there.

perkin, that would be great, I have been looking for a coat for dd too and the Gap one looks fab! Could you post it here? I am wary of putting my email addy online!

PerkinWarbeck · 24/11/2008 13:58

NCBirdy - it's a paper voucher to print, rather than a code. Could you set up a new gmail account (quite quick to do) and then I can forward it to you there?

I will do it now, thank you!
