I have bought some new dresses over teh last few days.
I have low red shoes, brown knee high boots and those really unflattering black calf length suede boot things.
I want some wool tights, can't afford expensive ones, but what shoudl I wear if I don't want to wear trousers under?
these are what I have bought.
here's one
another
and this one too

controlfreakyBANG · 23/11/2008 21:45

what's cheap? aristoc do v nice wool ones, £8 and m and s have merino wool for £9.50... if you want pure wool they aint going to be dead cheap.... but these would last and last...

Chirpygirl · 23/11/2008 21:46

I had a look on there, but what do I buy?
Am trying to get out of jeans since I realised they are really not that flattering and have no clue what to wear!
Do I go for plain colours cos of patterned clothes or patterns or what?!

I'd go for plain. Love the clothes by the way, you have great taste.
Lucky you buying them too

Caz10 · 23/11/2008 21:57

Oh chirpygirl that is funny, I bought wool tights yesterday and was going to post re what I should wear with them!

I got nice(I think) thick ribbed grey wool tights from Tesco for £4- now I need to buy a whole new outfit inc shoes hee hee!

janeite · 23/11/2008 21:58

I like that M&S dress; I look awful in dresses with belts though, unfortunately.

I think the dresses would look best with black tights though, rather than coloured. Patterned would mean far too much "going on" I think.

Chirpygirl · 23/11/2008 22:05

Cheap is under a tenner max for tights.

Thanks JD, my mum gave me a small amount of money to spend on new clothes as she knows I never buy for myself, unfortunately I spent a bit over so the DD@s and I will be walking a lot over the next few weeks

I like the sound of aubergine. Agree black will look great with all too.
