Help me find a perfume please

None of the ones I used to wear suit me anymore. I haven't worn perfume at all since ds was born 11 months ago but would like to start again.

I like perfumes that smell clean and fresh, don't like heavy musky ones, nor overly floral ones.

Help me narrow down my search by suggesting some I can go and try please!

Have you tried Jo Malone or Origins ?

They're both "natural" scents (using citrus oils, herbs, spices etc.). I went right off normal "perfumes" when I was pg and I've worn these ever since. I love Origins lemon & ginger and Jo Malone, Lime, Mandarin and Basil

I went off perfume when I was pregnant too, I couldn't go back to 'my' perfume after either (Miss Dior Cherie).

I now go between Baby Grace from Philosophy and China Blue from the Old Lady section in Marks and Spencer I love it though, don't tell anyone......

I'll try those (even the old lady one!).

Keep 'em coming!

ClaireyB - That happened to me too! Worst still, I gave birth to ds wearing my fav. perfume and now it makes me sick. I'd second all the above suggestions. I'd add Annick Goutal's single note, limited edition fragrances ("honeysuckle" is one of them), they have a white ribbon. I'm going to send you the link for "les senteurs", who have a really descriptive website and they do mail order testers, so you can really try out new fragrances at home at limited cost. here

Oh, I also found it wore off a bit with time and I can now cope with both the Estee Lauder "classic" fragrances: Tuberose and Gardenia and Original Classic.

Thanks Dougal

'clean and fresh' made me think of the well-being range by Clarins:
