Please help me with 'evening' make up

I hardly ever go out.

When I do, I wear exactly the same make up for night as for day - pretty minimal, bronzer, mascara, lippy, somtimes a bit of neutral shimmery eyeshadow.

For evening the only thing I do differently is lip gloss.

I have a night out coming up which will be attended by much younger things who always look great with sparkly eyeshadow etc.

Please can you give me your tips for glamming up my 'look' for going out - techniques and products please!!

My top tip is liquid eyeliner.

Ok - have never been able to apply it that well. Guess I can practise. Which brand do you like?

It does take a bit of practice, but you can tidy up mistakes with a cotton bud. I am using the Clinique one at the moment which is quite good. Rimmel do a good one as well.
