No, but I'm not a fan of the lace trend. ITs all a bit Elaine Paige and Barbara Dixon for me

SoupDragon · 20/11/2008 11:31

Not my thing but it would look stunning

SoupDragon · 20/11/2008 11:32

[pretends to be younger than MamaG]

fancyliontamer · 20/11/2008 11:36

It's a skirt that suggests - wife-swapping get together with the cul-de-sac.

GrabShellDude · 20/11/2008 13:46

Swedes

No don't like it.

artichokes · 20/11/2008 13:50

Its very expensive but not at all classy. Sorry! Maybe it looks better on.

VictorianSqualor · 20/11/2008 13:52

No, it's horrid.
I'd probably cut it up within a few days to make a halloween outfit for one of the Dc's.

DoubleBluff · 20/11/2008 13:55

Looks like something my Mum might buy for a 'do'.
Dont like it sorry.

fancyliontamer · 20/11/2008 13:56

oh dear, there's me thinking i'd look like a sexy goth, & all i'll look like is a middle aged swinger.

OrmIrian · 20/11/2008 14:05

Eek. No

I was thinking Stevie Nicks

VictorianSqualor · 20/11/2008 14:06

Or Kerry Latona in about ten years time.

Swedes · 20/11/2008 14:06

Would look nice with a velvet choker.

VictorianSqualor · 20/11/2008 14:06

Katona!!

samsonara · 20/11/2008 14:29

I do like it. I have a Karen Millen skirt of a few years ago which is silk cut work on black silk underskirt, looks lacelike similar and it's proved to be a good skirt to dress up or down, which I think this will be. This outfit is a stunning combo if you are tallish and slim and not trying to disguise upper arms and flabby back as its sheer. You don't need any accessories with the blouse, it has alot of detail. You can also wear the top with jeans or trousers and the skirt with a plainer top.

GalanthusNivalis · 20/11/2008 17:23

I like it too.

blinks · 20/11/2008 18:27

i like it but not with that top

VintageGardenia · 20/11/2008 18:31

God I must be totally out of whack, I think that blouse is absolutely gorgeous, would be fab on someone all throaty and delicate-wristed.

Anna8888 · 20/11/2008 18:32

No it's horrid.

VintageGardenia · 20/11/2008 18:33

Not sure I have ever typed the word blouse before.

WinkyWinkola · 20/11/2008 18:35

The skirt is fabulous. Really. The first lace item of clothing I've ever liked.

The top is ugly. Too much going on especially if worn with the skirt. If the top were just a very plain chiffon and in the same shape as it is now, then it would be perfect.

fancyliontamer · 20/11/2008 18:43

lol @ VG

thank you for all your comments, i will buy it, and probably the top, it's for a christmas night out with some friends i haven't seen for a while, so i want to make an effort!
