Is the boden duffle warm enough?

Hi dd has the boden two in one padded jacket but refuses to wear as A. its blue B. its too bulky. I'm planning on sticking it another ebay and have a £10 off voucher for boden. I like the look of the duffle but is it warm enough, we live up north and its bloody freezing. It doesn't look that substantial.

My niece has one and it doesn't seem that thick and has also gone quite bobbly.

Does it have to be Boden? I got a lovely coat for dd in M&S. You could always use the £10 voucher for yourself!

I do love the duffles- buy every year and it's warm enough for dd but we're down south. I have the same problem with dd this year though- she's refusing to wear her's because, although it's pink- it has green inside which isn't acceptable .

I live in the Frozen North and always buy the Boden duffles for my DDs. I was a bit worried when the material changed (it is more 'felty' than before), but DD2 seems very warm. We walk a lot and I love the fact that when you undo the zip you can feel the trapped heat coming out.

They are pricey (I try to get mine in advance in the winter sale), but so far they have always been worn for two winters per child, so not bad on a "per wear" basis.

DD1 just got the blueberry two-in-one and loves it (particularly the pop-off fur, for some reason ) - we could have traded orders!

Thanks everyone, i don't like the sound of bobbly will have to look around rosealbie i've always found M&S coats a very odd fit, long and narrow on the sleeves. Maybe its just my dd.

Tesco have a Boden-a-like duffle for a tenner
Dd has been complimented on her 'Boden' duffle a few times
