Im looking for a longish coat for dd1, must be warm with a hood. At the momment she is wearing a bomber jacket and her bottom is getting cold .

I was hoping to wait for the sales to get her one in Next but the weather is getting colder. I havn't got much money to spend so the cheeper the better

Our Woolworths has lots of coats on their sale rails atm

Bought DD one in that size for £10 in Asda. Quite well padded with fleece lining and hood. Only thing is hood sometimes slips back a bit. It is red with flower pattern on.

We bought the asda one for dd2 , its a nice coat, shame they don't do it in another colour (don't like dressing them the same). Might pop in to asda and have a look.

it's the ribbing round the bottom of bomber jacket types that makes them ride up

one like this should stay down

MrsBadger · 19/11/2008 12:32

ditto

and this one is even longer

Marne · 19/11/2008 12:40

Thanks mrsbadger, i have added the pink one (first one) to my watching list.

I think they did have a pink patterned one in Asda. They had a brown fleecy but padded one with spots that I liked but DD wouldn't consider it.

Thanks for all you help, dh got some extra money from work (a tip) so he let me buy a new one for £20 , i hope it lasts her for next year.
