Neutrogena is good.

mrsmaidamess · 18/11/2008 17:41

I think apart from cheapo Aqueous cream you get what you pay for.

Best for me ( but not the cheapest)is Burts Bees hand cream (any variety) they are great for my gnarly knuckles and ripped cuticles

doublebase -its like cheap aqueous cream

votes here too for atrixo - came out best in a test I saw and really does work well - or neutrogena if you can tolerate proper handcream

doggiesayswoof · 18/11/2008 17:48

neutrogena

I have eczema, hands are v cracked - it works

mrsmaidamess · 18/11/2008 17:49

Oh yes, cotton gloves overnight too. You run the risk of looking like a black and white minstrel but its a small price to pay .

Actually in the fuzziness of my memory I recall a great overnight hand cream by Dove. it worked miracles.

Blinglovin · 18/11/2008 17:52

Agree on Neutrogena.

I also have a great Nivea one that I keep at home - feels gorgeous and costs about £2!

ilovespinach · 18/11/2008 17:54

wow thanks for all the suggestions will hunt out some Neutrogena and cotton gloves out tomorrow

A friend gave me some Lotil when I had very cracked skin on the back of my hands and it was magic - I couldn't believe how quickly it worked.

TsarChasm · 18/11/2008 17:58

Body shop Hemp cream is good. But smells a bit medicinal and is quite expensive.

Agree gloves on overnight really works. Dh gives me funny looks though but he gave up asking about such things years ago

VanillaPumpkin · 18/11/2008 18:00

Neutrogena unscented!

moshie · 18/11/2008 18:12

Avon glycerine and silicone. It was actually recommended to me to reduce scarring, but is a fab hand cream.

DLI · 18/11/2008 18:28

johnsons hand cream doesnt leave your hands feeling greasy and is only a couple of pound

moondog · 18/11/2008 18:29

Neutrogena every time
Believe me, have tried them all.

Grammaticus · 18/11/2008 18:33

Yes to Neutrogena and body shop hemp. If splashing out, I love Clarins.
