No. No. No and I don't care how much she'd love them. I want some nice snuggly girl's pjs. It shouldn't be too much to ask for?

Have you tried Debenhams; we always get dd her lovely brushed cotton p-js from there

DANCESwithLordPottingtonSmythe · 17/11/2008 19:28

Actually I have! They did have a couple of nice pairs but not in her size (she's 5yrs) - just unlucky I think.

Don't laugh, but Primark have some lovely cosy fleece ones. For about three quid.

girliefriend · 17/11/2008 19:32

mothercare do some nice normal pjs! Their own are Much cheaper than the peppa pig and night garden variety! If you are willing to splurge john lewis do the nicest ones!

tassisssss · 17/11/2008 19:35

my 5 year old boy has the lovely brushed cotton ones from primark and they've washed and worn well

I think there are some OK ones in M&S, and surprisingly Asda had some nice non-character ones.

Buda · 17/11/2008 19:37

DS had those brushed cotton ones from Primark a few years ago - they were lovely.

DANCESwithLordPottingtonSmythe · 17/11/2008 19:38

There isn't a Primark near me. Couldn't find any in M & S, best ones were charlie and lola I thought. Will def. look at mothercare.

Peacocks had some gorgeous ones in recently, kind of brushed cotton or what ever its called. dd chose some scotty dog ones. Only £5.

BirdyArms · 17/11/2008 21:25

John Lewis have some nice ones. Vintage floral are v pretty and their winceyette pjs are super cosy.

Wallaroo · 17/11/2008 21:27

Mothercare have buy one get one half price at the moment. Yes they do have plenty of character ones but they also have some really pretty ones too. I was looking today for my 5 year old DD as we always get Xmas jammies on Xmas Eve.

Wispabarsareback · 17/11/2008 21:42

Mothercare have some good ones right now - pack of two pairs for £14, just bought my 5-year-old DD1 some PJs that are pink and white with v cute elephants on them. They have long trousers and long sleeves, and are soft and cosy.

Little White Company do great PJs, but in these credit-crunched times I haven't bought any this year (yet...)
