My very stylish friend is 22 next week, totally stuck on what to get her. Was thinking perfume, but which one?

I think if you know what she likes then it's a good idea but as perfume smells different on different people what you like may not be to her liking and I don't think the wrong one will make a good present.

Smurfgirl - What's your friend like, other than stylish? Is she bohemian? Modernist? Who are her heroines? Reading choices?

Um. She is into fashion, reading celeb mags, she is a nurse, likes going out with friends etc, pretty normal young 20s. She is not into cultural type stuff though!

If I am not sure about perfume I have bought shower gel and body lotion from perfume ranges. Not too overpowering and a nice treat.

Showergels and body lotions are a good idea maybe from a perfume range she likes or a chance to try products eg from, Molton Brown or Ren or Abahna? There's loads of choice out there even in boots of products which would be lovely to try and great received as a present.

Smurfgirl - I see what everyone else is saying but I have to admit I love being given perfume, it's my favourite present. So I think it's a nice idea.
