that fit properly? 1
that fit adequately? 4

littleboo · 17/11/2008 13:14

Loads, BUT I always seem to come back to the same old comfy ones. They all look lovely in the shops, especially in say M&S sale where you can get a good deal, but the old ones...

No19 · 17/11/2008 13:15

Same as MrsB except - that fit properly - 0

ohIdoliketobebesidethe · 17/11/2008 13:15

Only 3 that I will actually wear. Been the same 3 for 3 years now .

pellmell · 17/11/2008 13:18

ummm we did this a while back and it was interesting how we differed.
I own about twenty. Of the twenty I own only about four get worn.
I buy new ones but can't stand getting rid of the old if I think they still have a bit of life left in them....trouble is I feel tatty in them.
Should throw them out!

littleboyblue · 17/11/2008 13:20

2, one black, one white.
Went to la senza to get measured and they told me I was a 38b, I laughed and left, went to debenhams and they told me 36dd, which is what I thought but they stretch don't they and now kill my back!

MrsBadger · 17/11/2008 13:21

la senza are crap

go to Bravissimo

ohdearwhatamess · 17/11/2008 13:21

(Hundreds more in various sizes in the attic)

francagoestohollywood · 17/11/2008 13:25

finknottle · 17/11/2008 13:39

I never wore bras till pg with s1.

I recently cleared out my underwear drawer as I couldn't close it properly, something was stuck in the back. An old nursing bra. D is 6 and I think I bought it when s1 was born 11 yrs ago...

Threw out: 4 nursing bras and 6 I'd bought in the pg/post-children years when I had a chest to put in a bra.
Now thinner again, flatter again and in no need of support again. Sigh.

Now have 2 new (small) ones for posh dress occasions.

sagacious · 17/11/2008 13:42

About 30 (3 of these don't fit but are too pretty to throw away)

Andthentherewerethree · 17/11/2008 13:45

i have prob 20+ as i love buying mathcing sets and i i fidn it difficult to buy in my size that fit. remarably after yeasr of buying ill fitting m&s, bravissimo and other expensive brands liek freya thet come in the 36h that i need, the ones that fit perfecdt are from mataln and a 38g? wires touch my skin and no gaps, but when tried 38 g in other stores, back is too big and cups too small.

cheesesarnie · 17/11/2008 13:49

i wish i could buy pretty bras!

TigerFeet · 17/11/2008 13:49

In cupboard: shitloads - my norks have been many and varied sizes over the years and I still have some of the smaller sizes in the vain hope that they will fit me again at some point
That I wear: 5
That fit me: 0
On order from lovely new lingerie shop in a size that actually fits and is comfy: 2

bikerunski · 18/11/2008 10:34

Post pg and bf I recently went for fitting and found something simple and comfy that I like and bought 3 x white, 1 x black, 1 x flesh.

Never has spending so much on bras felt so good!

I'm sure there used to be a charity that collected unwanted bras - if anyone can remember who they are, I will make a large donation!

cmotdibbler · 18/11/2008 10:39

Three. Must buy more really..
