Hello I wonder whether any of you wise and stylish mners can help me. I'm after some classic plain black stilleto shoes, no more than 3.5" but not less than 2.5". There are so many different styles there that I don't know where to begin, Also, I prefer them not to be so pointy as lots tend to be these days. Any advice welcome, I don't want to chance buying choose online if possible.

Thank you.

Anything up to £45. Or is that unrealistic?

Faith are always a good bet. They're doing some red-soled stilletoes, a la Christian Laboutin, which are v lovely.

Thanks littlelapin, the faith one is the style I'm after but in leather. Not sure whether I can cope with such a high heel though.

I'd like something that I could ocassionally wear at work as well as with a party outfit.

I heart these shiny ones Do they count as stilettos?

boogiewoogie · 16/11/2008 22:02

Oh yes luckywinner. Think I'll make a trip to M&S this week or next to have a better look.

I tried them on on Friday and they were loverly. M&S are doing free delivery if you don't make it to the shop. And they had a little bit of a padded sole so they were quite comfy. In fact I now need them badly!
