Brown and Black together - yes or no ?

I'm thinking of ordering a chocolate brown wool dress but have black boots and shoes. Would you wear brown and black together ? If so, what coloured tights would you go for (I have black but could obviously buy brown if need be but can't afford new brown boots atm)

I think black and brown together can look v stylish, black tights fine. Might be difficult matching the tights if you went for brown tights and I think two diff shades of brown together would look

Yes, I often wear this combo, never with brown tights though - sheer black tights are preferable

black tights with the black boots- yes.
I wore a brown dress with black tights and high black boots to a posh lunch in London and felt fine!

all brown looks awful imo

actually navy and black is quite trendy atm apparently
