Wrap dress problem!

Bought a lovely purple wrap dress from ebay (new). Love it, except that the 'hole' you put the belt through to wrap it is far too wide - thus leaving a very unattractive view of bare skin underneath! Surely it's not supposed to look like this - has anyone had similar problems? The hole is 3.5 inches long!

I emailed the seller (a shop) and they asked me to return it so they could check it. Currently waiting to hear from them

Sew it up a bit?

Wear a cami-top (something like a Hanro vest) underneath.

I'll do that if they don't refund me

I was thinking of the top underneath hf128219, but I wouldn't be able to get a top the same colour and if I wore a white vest underneath there would just be a big white bit instead of flesh

What is preferable? White material or flesh?
