My wardrobe consists of plain jeans, some are a bit baggy as i've lost weight. long sleeved plain tops, short sleeved tops and a jumper. i have trainers and low heeled boots and feel minging everyday when i get ready.
I have £15 per month to spend on me and dd going out so very limited budget.
I walk a lot so cant wear heeled shoes without being crippled.
What could i buy/what should i be wearing to look a bit better?

If you haven't got any spare cash then you need to think laterally - have you got a birthday coming up, do you have a friend who is bit of a spendaholic and the same size as you, or how about ebay. I still get the odd 99p bargain if I trawl for ages. I think you need something for a morale boost so a skirt that flatters you - can you go short? a pair of pretty shoes you can walk in, maybe a pair of special earings would be a good start, then take it from there when you see what is the best ego boost. If you get a really good haircut ( try being a model or going to a college with a hairdressing course for v.cheap hairdressing) and some flattering make up then you will feel nice and not minging. I work for an organisation that employs lots of care assistants who get paid very little, they are always competing about who can look most gorgeous for least money, so it can be done.

my friend cuts my hair every 6 weeks so its not tto bad and i have been wearing make up more lately, but my skin gets really spotty if i wear it every day.
