Ski jacket that wont make me look like furniture

Does anyone know of a good brand or place I can get a warm weather/ski jacket kind of coat? I accidently sent mine back home and am heading off to Switzerland for Christmas. Most coats make me look like a sofa as I am a size 20. Any help is greatly appreciated as I really do not want to freeze but so not want to look like my grandmas couch.

Try TK Maxx they had loads of clothing for skiing, and reasonably priced too.

I find a fleece (or two) and a goretex tiem jacket combo far more practical and flattering than a quilted skiing jacket. Again, TK Maxx. I love Patagonia stuff, which TKM get in from time to time. Very good quality and nice looking. Very £££ new.

Are these any good?

I dont really want a ski jacket for skiing. I need a new casual joacket that I can throw on for the school run, wearing to the rugby, backpacking through Europe etc. I saw a black one in Gap but am not sure about it. I couldnt fuind the UK link.

I will go to TKM tomorrow morning.
Fingers crossed

My sister is the same size as you, I bought her something similar to what you describe from Lands End (angel down parka). Lovely & warm but not thick - good luck.

I have looked at the lands end site and there is one coat on there I would really really like.
Since someone else has it and its got good reviews I may just treat myself.
Thanks 101
