Will anyone come and tell me how I should have my hair cut please?

Eeek, have put a full frontal shot on my profile , it is about 18 months old but my hair is exactly the same, prehaps abit longer and rat-tail-ier. I have a phobia of short hair (subjected to many years of blunt fronge and bob!) but it needs something doing with it. It is very very fine, so layers just fall flat. I did have a side fringe once, but it just sat there and wouldn't stay put of my way [sigh] I was temped last time to get some sort of light fringe again, but the hair dresser said round faces don't suit them, but there is nothing happeneing with my hair whatsoever. Thanks so so much if you can help. Also if you think I should colour it? Have been very tempted before.

i think you do need some layers in it for movement, but they dont have to be sort ones

i wouldnt have a fringe though

as for colour, i would stay darker rather than lighter, go for a semi permanent, so if you dont like it, the colour will fade reasonably quickly

yep long layers and i would have a sort of 'growing out' fringe look and move parting to one side. i think the colour of your hair is gorgeous though and wouldn't touch that at all!

Would you consider having a body perm?

It will give you more volume.

LadyOfRoffle · 07/11/2008 17:44

Thanks ~ what's a body perm? Is it very tight? T & G suggested a perm to me, but I thought it's easier to curl my super super straight hair than straighten a perm, but, I hate my hair being straight! Is it really permanent? Even when I curl my hair, it straighens within an hour or so. Never needed GHDs!

No advice sorry but you look v pretty and i love the bfing pics!!

babyonboardarocket · 07/11/2008 17:51

No it creates a loose curl and volume at the roots. It lasts up to 6 months. I agree long hair suits you and it's a gorgeous colour.

Ha! Oooh, the memories of that pic - I stayed up all night (yes, zero sleep) to try and make DS1 a birthday cake. No sleep and no cake in the end! Thanks though! Am googling perms ATM... [brave]

my hair is permed, it's the only way my hair will stay curly, i just straighten it when i feel in the mood
