I have recently had surgeny and gone through an early meopause. One of the main problems is it has left my skin dry. I use to use L'occitan milk body lotion and it is fine every now bar my knees, which have for some reason begun to resemble my heals.

HELP...

I do not have pots of cash and have tried loads of things, but I do have a bithday coming up in December so could put something on my list

A couple of suggestions for you:

L'Occitane Shea Butter - excellent for dry patches. I use it for heals, knees, elbows, hands and nails and even as a lip balm.

On the cheaper end of things, Palmers Cocoa Butter body lotion is gorgeous and soothing. Tis also the best stretch mark minimiser I've ever used (even better than Strivectin HD which did nothing for mine despite the £80+ price tag ).

The Sanctuary's Kyphi body moisturiser (much lighter than a body butter but it comes in that type of pot). Smells delicious and even works on my reptilian skin

hope this helps!

Oh Madhouse.....please tell me I did not offend.... . That certainly wasn't a surreptitious dig at you.

I've just tried Imperial Leather skin cocoon shower lotion (or some other wanky name )...

And it certainly feels rather lovely when you use it, and claims to soften skin in 5 days...

Get back to me in, oh, 3 days

Oh I have a tough hide, dont worry about offending me. I try to do the spelling word thing most of the time, but if I am tired or a bit out of shorts, I kind of revert

I have popped on some Shea butter this evening - L'Occitan one
