I NEED red shoes, can't find any cheap enough online...HELP!

Have just bought this dress.
I've decided to wear it with some sort of bingo wing covering shrug, not sure what colour yet and opaque black tights with red shoes (don't slate me, I think this will look ok as I fancy a more 'quirky' look!)

But, I can't find any red shoes that I like or think will go. Would be great to find them online so I could narrow the amount of shops I have to drag the Dd's around

Can any mnetters help me? Style gurus I need you

Not sure what your budget is but I've got the Virgo Cut Out T-Bar Court in red & I love them. They are £49.99 - see here

DorrisMcWhirter · 06/11/2008 22:08

They're lovely but probably out of my price range unfortunately

They were out of my price range too - but it was for a special treat & a tiny, weeny scratch meant I got 10% off.

I'll leave you in the capable hands of the regular Style gurus!

DorrisMcWhirter · 06/11/2008 22:12

Thank you Shivs, sorry, didn't mean to seem ungrateful, they are lovely shoes and I could probably scrape the money together if they were any colour other than red (i can't see me wearing them a lot!)

Gosh - I didn't mean to come across like that .....complete understand that they are expensive & I struggle to find things to wear them with - but I do love clicking my heels three times & pretending to be Dorothy!!
I never respond to posts in this section as I can never help - so that's all I meant....
Hope you find something gorgeous to go with your lovely dress.

DorrisMcWhirter · 06/11/2008 22:22

Thank you

Red shoes I have got 2 pairs just love them, but then I do wear alot of black. Have you tried Next as they had some in at around £20.00

Blinglovin · 07/11/2008 11:55

I don't have any advice on where to buy them but...

do not think you will ONLY wear them with this dress. Red shoes look fabulous with jeans or trousers - peeping out they add colour and life to an outfit.

I have some orange (sounds awful but lovely) KG shoes that I wear ALL the time with jeans. And love them.

DorrisMcWhirter · 07/11/2008 18:27

True, I suppose red shoes are not just for christmas
Guess they would look good with jeans now you come to mention it. Have glanced at Next but will go back and have a closer look

New look have some great ones at the moment and are v comfortable, and thats coming from an ecco shoe fan. The range from £10-20.

Ewe · 07/11/2008 18:34

Peep toe

Shiny peep toe

Petent shoe boots

Courts

They don't always have full collection online either so head to New Look, they are best for cheap fab shoes.

DorrisMcWhirter · 07/11/2008 18:43

Oo, love the peep toe ones, as the dress came from New Look I suppose the shoes should too
Quick style question: black opaque tights and red shoes, would peep toes be ok? Is this 'in' now? [ridiculously out of date emoticon!]
Also, if dress is red, black tights and red shoes - what colour shrug?!
If anyone is available on the 18th of December to help dress me that would be great!!

tis in at the moment but in our house we still say red shoes no knickers

not sure how you'll manage that with the opaques though?

DorrisMcWhirter · 07/11/2008 19:32

Yes, we still have that phrase too may chafe / chaffe (sp?!) slightly with opaques
