Any clues on how to work out face shape?

Just as it says really. I have no clue what my face shape is (especially since I have recently lost a lot of weight) and was wondering if anyone knows how to work it out.

I saw on something to draw round your face shape in a mirror with something

Dragonbutter · 06/11/2008 13:41

why don't you post a picture and we'll try to figure it out?

Redazzy · 06/11/2008 14:02

Ok, done! It is on my profile. I am having my hair done tomorrow - colour and cut so that is my excuse about the state of my hair!

Thanks whoops. I tried that but still can't determine it. I think it may be round but then I have quite a pointy chin so damned if I know.

is you profile public? I can't see it

RipMacWinkle · 06/11/2008 14:08

Ooh you're v pretty.

On the face thing, I'm no expert but I'd say more oval than round?

samsonara · 06/11/2008 14:10

I'd say oval too, as round faces tend to have a less defined chin area

Dragonbutter · 06/11/2008 14:11

definitely not round or square.

oval probably.

saythatagain · 06/11/2008 14:12

Oval/heart shaped I think. You are pretty and take a good picture....lucky girl!

Redazzy · 06/11/2008 14:15

It should be viewable quickdraw.

Rip!

I wondered about oval. Any ideas for hairstyles? I have slightly longer than chinnish bob at the moment which is bit shorter at the back. I would love something a bit different but don't know what. Also I am going to have it coloured with a light brown (too much home blonde kits has made it terribly dry) and then highlighted. What do you think?

"Viewable"?!
Maybe make that visible!

brown will look great.
i'm sure your stylist will have some ideas.
from you picture i'd say you need your hair softer around your face so maybe a fringe of some layering or something at the front.
do you some good straighteners?

Redazzy · 06/11/2008 14:46

Thanks so much you lot. I am very excited (can't you tell?) as I haven't had my hair done properly for ages and have been lured by a 50% off your first appointment offer at a local salon that a few friends go to. Maybe I will post another photo tomorrow after it has been done so you can see the results.

Thanks again.

Oval.

Heart shaped is wide forehead and narrow/pointy chin.
Square is jaw and forehead same width and round is ... well .. round!!!
