what to wear to go clubbing??!!

I haven't been to a club for years and years (probably early 90's ). I am going clubbing for a birthday party and wondered what is ok to wear? Please say skinny jeans, ugg boots and a nice top !! would like to be comfortable, I can't wear heels as I have a dodgy knee, I am 40 so don't want to look like a twit!

erm - don't a lot of clubs have a "no denim" policy? Or they used to anyway!

Thats what I was worried about, would I get away with black skinny jeans?

No, you can wear smart denim at some clubs. But that would usually be with heels.

Uggs would be too warm imo. How about some ballet flats/pumps?

Check the club first. Online if they have a website or call.

black skinny jeans are ok

Ugg boots not ok

if you cant do heels, try ballet flats or a wedge heel

add a sparkly top, you are good to go !

Oooh, I have a pair of wedges, not sure about wearing them with skinny jeans tho' would they look ok? (feeling old and frumpy emoticon) Will get a sparkly top.

Wedges and skinnys for clubbing are better than uggs, deffo.
