Drink lots of water and invest in the Lancome Touche Eclait thingy - is far better than the YSL one.

katch · 03/11/2008 14:44

Benefits erase paste is much better than touche eclat - plus I'm allergic to it.

The girl at the Benefits counter will trowel it on if you want to try it first.

I once read about using fenugreek and milk mixed to a paste - leave on for 10 mins. It did seem to be working, but DH couldn't stand the smell.

Tillyscoutsmum · 03/11/2008 14:55

Ok thanks. I use YSL one atm - will head to Boots to try Benefits and Lancome ones

What on earth is fenugreek ? [dumbass emoticon] Will I get it from health food places ? Or will it be with the vits at Boots ?

I drink lots of water and try and get enough sleep (as much as dd allows obviously ). I think I just have really thin skin under my eyes iykwim

Any other suggestions ?

Fenugreek is a curry spice - you get it ground in the supermarket.
I also think it's to do with the shape of your face - my eyes are deepset which apparently means you're more prone.

Hey Tilly..wedding plans agogo?
Or Benefit Boing?Works well for me..and believe me I need it..

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 03/11/2008 18:29

Benefit Eyecon to help get rid.

Benifit Boing to hide.

Tillyscoutsmum · 03/11/2008 18:52

Right - thanks all - off to Benefit counter then. Do you reckon the Eyecon will do some good in 4 weeks ?

Yes scoot Had my make up trial a couple of days ago and just noticed how dark my circles were (my specs normally hide them)

Some, it does take a while to really see the, aherm, benefits, so stick with it.

VintageGardenia · 03/11/2008 19:21

With the Boing does anyone else find you really have to smear it in, sort of dragging the skin? I think I am hiding bags but encouraging wrinkles. Am I doing it wroing?

I put it on with fingers.

thegreatscooscreamy · 03/11/2008 20:02

pat it on.And then very gently blend with your middle finger (the one you will lose least pressure on)Otherwise you risk damaging the 'delicate under eye area'.

Tidgypuds · 03/11/2008 20:14

Eyecon all the way, I use it everyday just a smigdgyn (sp) refreshing in a morning too. Also sometimes when Im going out I will use, ooh la lift also from benefit.

HeadFairy · 03/11/2008 20:16

try taking milk thistle supplements, it supports the liver and can fix under eye circles from the inside... they kind of mention it on here

Tillyscoutsmum · 04/11/2008 17:23

Right - thanks all

I'm back from shopping trip with Eyecon, Boing and Milk Thistle supplements. Hopefully something will make a difference

OOH..Let us know.Esp re the Eyecon as havent tried that..

swedishmum · 04/11/2008 19:50

Boiing works best when you leave your finger on it for a while to melt it. I've tried everything and have finally found a combination that works for me - Moisturiser, Boiing patted on, then Body Shop minerals foundation. Takes only a couple of minutes and it's the best result I've had in 20 years.
