I have a tiny weeny chest apparently but am overweight so m'norks don't look that big to the casual observer, balanced out as they are by my flabby stomach and humungernormous arse.

They didn't have any in the shop in my size so have a couple on order. I tried on a 36J but it was loose around the back so the lovely lady said a 34JJ would do the trick. Even the 36J was far more comfortable to wear than the bra I had on, I had no idea that I could be so comfortable, I just resigned myself to big dangly norks=discomfort.

how did you manage to squeeze them in a G cup

I don't know I knew teh G was too small but it was the biggest cup size I could get locally. It sort of squashes them into my chest, and the underwiring in the middle sticks out a bit and doesn't touch my rib cage. Some G cups I couldn't wear but others I could but with some discomfort.

I'm actually really embarrassed that I had it so wrong, I was expecting to be maybe a 38H or perhaps a 36H but not such a big difference.

I've seen sooooo many style programmes on the telly that tell you that the best thing any woman can do for her figure is to get a properly fitted bra but somehow never applied that to myself .

Welcome to proper fitting bras even if talking about size of them makes you cry!!

I have considered a reduction but a) am too overweight to be considered atm and b) might not be done with childbearing and breastfeeding (although I do know someone who successfully breast fed post reduction)

I can't wait to get them. I do wonder how clothes will fit though - I stick out a long way in a properly fitting bra no fitted shirts for Tiger

bloomin' heck. i thought my transformation from 34a in M&S to 30dd in john lewis was extreme !
