Easiest way to get curly/wavy hair ??

I like my hair curly/wavey, I think it suits me more than the dead straight look.

However, my hair is straight without even a kink in it. I used to have it permed as a teen (didn't everyone) and used to spend ages scrunching and faffing with it.

I have curling tongs, and can get more or less the look I want with those but only if I have a spare hour or so

Is there an esier way ???

Not as "instant" as tonging but you could plait it after washing and when its not completely dry and leave it in and when you take it out you'll have waves. If you want waves at the back of head rather than from neck downwards, then section hair and do thinner more plaits and hold them in with little hair elastics. Fat ones better for curls, thin ones give a more crimpler effect.
