The dreaded halloween party - what can I wear and still look ok?

It is on wednesday, and here are my ideas thus far:

1. Black dress, opaque tights, shoes, little sequinned horns-on-a-headband from topshop on head

1. Same as above but also with matching mask

As you can tell I am not exactly teaming with ideas....

Or, with my lack of effort shall I just go in non-halloween gear and accept that?

Ive got a red wig from ebay (£&7 +p&p), red skinny jeans and a red top, a cheap red fork thing and some face paint.
Im a devil.
