Probably a stupid question [blush]

I have a pair of comfy old jeans (Levis) that seem to fit the same as they always have, except for a new problem...

The zip won't stay up.

Is it because
A) They're old jeans, and the zippers just don't work well any more on old jeans, or
B) Because although I haven't gained hardly any weight over the years, my shape is changing as I get older and my tummy is fatter.

If B), would getting fitter make the jeans fit better, or should I give up on them?

TIA.

Get the zip redone in one of those repair shop places?

thumblesswitch · 24/10/2008 13:08

probably B, try the getting fitter and if that doesn't work go for Puppymonkey's idea.

It is quite expensive to get zips replaced - maybe £15. I would go for the safety pin!

Daft question I know but are you making sure the actual zip thing is pressed down. I have a pair of trousers liek this and unless I press the zip down they don't stay up!

Terrific elastic band solution (!)
