I would never let my child wear a personalised item of clothing.

I wouldn't want my child going round with their name on their top for anyone to see and pretend they knew them.

And yes, we go to Banger Racing and the children wearing them are from the 'appropriate, less offensive term' familes.

My dd (age 11) has one - i didn't realise they were considered chavvy! All her friends have them and I don't think anyone pretends to know them as they would be quickly told to get lost!
