I have recently lost some weight. Yay, go me. However I am now in between a 12 and a 14 and cannot seem to get any jeans to fit.

I have quite big hips, but tummy and bum are reasonably fat now. Am looking for Bootleg style as they tend to suit me best.

Reasonably flat I meant to say not fat ,although probably about right

Monsoon jeans are good for curvy people - might work? They also come in different lengths, which is useful.

hannahsaunt · 20/10/2008 16:19

I love the Fat Face ones - very flattering.

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 20/10/2008 16:27

white stuff v good

spookyrookie · 20/10/2008 16:28

What are the sizes like on those brands ? I need a generous 12 or a stingy 14.

Oh that sounds good. I randomly picked up a pair in Next as had DS with me and was shocked to discover they were £45.00. Just tried them on at home and can't get the zip to do up (size 12) but my existing size 14s look baggy and shapeless.

i am 12/14 and found gap to be quite good for everyday

expensive - 7 for all mankind are fab, really stretchy and flattering for curvy girls. i am a size 31 in their sizes

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 20/10/2008 16:35

Monsoon are v generous - you can usually go down a size.

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 20/10/2008 16:37

white stuff tend to be long in the leg, even regular (as do Monsoon actually) but fit nicely on waist and bottom/hips- my hips not esp wide though, if that's any help ! Monsoon trousers do seem big for their given sizing.

duckyfuzz · 20/10/2008 16:40

I have these from [[http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/product/B0015MY7QK/ref=pd_sbs_5/026-2486780-8227602?ie=UTF8&mnSB rand=core M&S] and they are a good fit on hips, also come in different lengths

duckyfuzz · 20/10/2008 16:40

oops try again

spookyrookie · 20/10/2008 17:16

Those ones look nice duckyfuzz, I have nearly tried them on a few times, must do so next time.
