Help! Boys trousers with v wide legs - any suggestions?

DS, 7, has a fixator frame on his leg [[http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/06/19/article-1027408-01A7606A00000578-941_233x423_popup.jpg LIke this - but this is not DS). I need the widest legged trousers we can find - probably tracksuit - that might fit over it!
Any suggestions? So far we hav managed with trousers cut off at the thigh and altered to fasten up the side with velcro, to get them on and off, but tht is oo cild fo him now.
