Send it to me, I have a black pencil skirt with a high waist that I have been looking for a blouse to go with - your sounds ideal.

Gobbledigook · 19/10/2008 12:44

You could wear any colour with pewter and you could wear with skirt, trousers or jeans!

That was helpful wasn't it?! True though!

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 19/10/2008 12:45

I would wear that with a pencil skirt (aforementioned) jeans or trousers. It is lovely.

scaryfucker · 19/10/2008 12:47

I would wear that tucked in with-

high waisted pencil skirt and heels

high waisted black trousers/smart dark jeans and high heeled shoes/boots

I wouldn't wear it with red

cremolafoam · 19/10/2008 12:50

agree the red skirt makes it look 80's
I have a pinstripe pencil skirt, but i was afraid it might look to officey, or sexy secretary lol < imagines self as one- in her dreams>

black skirt or trousers and purple tights all the way!

cremolafoam · 19/10/2008 12:53

aha the purple tights- of course
what shoes?
can you wear a pencil skirt with knee length boots?

Not a fan of the boots and pencil skirt look myself. Think chunky heeled shoes would be better with that outfit (and a bit more up to date)

samsonara · 19/10/2008 13:35

Its a lovely celebratory colour and the sheen of the satin will make it stand out, as mentioned it will look great with a pencil skirt or trousers, high shoes and purple tights or accessorie ( or even in a jade blues) would add the key trend tone. If you want to wear with boots it will give it a more casual look unless the boots were high heeled and tight. But with boots I'd add a thickish belt too around waist.

cremolafoam · 19/10/2008 13:45

what about these?

ComeOVeneer · 19/10/2008 13:47

I have a lovley dusky pink version that I wear either with a high waisted pair of charcoal grey trousers and heels (ether black shoes or boots) or a black high waisted pencil skirt and high heeled shoes.

cremolafoam · 19/10/2008 13:54

i really need these don't I?

really can't justify the price

Not keen on those shoes with the top as the light grey colour wont compliment but take away from and look mismatched

Jewelsandgems · 19/10/2008 14:27

Love those grey shoes from Clarkes but with the coloured tights and the beautiful colour of the top, may be a bit too much going on? Although, if they are very dark grey, may look really fantastic.

Well I was not much help there was I!

samsonara · 19/10/2008 15:34

Now they are bang on, the have a sheen and are a muted grey, win win

mabanana · 19/10/2008 15:46

If you do a search someone had a 30% off code for clarks...
