I could do, I feel so silly for not wanting to go into town with no makeup on but it will be full of kids that I teach so I will be stopped constantly by kids and parents.

go early. then i seriously doubt you'll run into many.

OR, go into your village and buy, say, a No. 7 tinted moisturiser and then head into Poole.

lol at buying one set of emergency make up so I can buy another I need to get my act together and accept that if someone sees me without makeup it is not the end of the world.

if you can get there early, though, all the better. more room to browse, too.

I used to be an Estee Laudeer gal but have been using more and more No 7 these days, it's really good - very regular offers etc. Don't know if the smoky eye palette offer is still on with the mascara but it was vv good.

Echoing Expat ~ Barbara Daly at tesco and Barry M for even cheaper but still pretty good.

I popped into the Boots in Blandford this evening and they were not doing 3 for 2 on No7 I may check in Poole. I eyed up the smoky eye palette last time I was in town actually

you can get the smoky eye palette for free with the Extreme Lash mascara, although that's £11.50 so not 'cheap'.

turquoise · 17/10/2008 22:13

Well, not cheap but pretty good value when you consider there's 3 wearable eyeshadows and a highlighter, plus a decent double ended brush - all for £11.50 with the mascara! Most of those pallettes have at least one hideous colour you'd never wear, and they're good quality. And the mascara is good, and not gloopy or bitty.

I don't work for no 7, honestly - just a zealous convert. Hate protect and perfect though.

Priced up getting foundation, concealor, powder, eye shadow, eye pencil, mascara , blusher and lip stick and it came to £50 from No7 which included the free smoky eyes palette and 3 for 2. Quite a bargain and a third of my normal price.
