Dry lips?

I always get this when winter starts and it drives me mad.

I use burt bees at night and wear benefits lip tint in the day but after a while out of the house my lips feel so dry.

Are there any better lip colours I could be using, or a better moisturiser?

Drink more water
Turn down central heating
Exofoliate (with towel is good) after a soak in the bath
include them when you moisturise, then apply balm.

I use kiehls, lovely stuff.

Since I stopped using lip balm my lips have healed up and no dry skin on them at all. I do use a pamplemousse juicy tube as a gloss but other than that no balms and they are the best they have ever been.

I do put a damp towel on the radiator too, to stop the house air being so dry with the heating.

Lip balm is lovely though

are all these fancy ones better than plain old lipsalve- currently using Boots own stick for 79 p I think.

My lip are awful and - confess- they never get better cps I keep pulling the dry skin off. I am deeply ashamed and must stop.

can anyone help?
