Black Tie Bash

DH and I are off to a black tie do in about a month. Eek. What on earth am I going to wear?

I'm 6ft tall, 12-14 and a size 9 shoe. Budget of around £400. Would be grateful for any ideas!

I normally wear three quarter lenghts dresses with shole/wrap and some nice high heels. A black dress with a colourfull wrap is always a safe option!!! Good luck have fun!

You've got great body shape for long gowns and good budget so maybe able to find something in a boutique. There are lots of gorgeous long black dresses , depends what you like, also checkout the designers at Debenhams and M and S Autograph occassions ranges for ideas. Also I think a one shoulder column dress might look fab on you. Here's one I like
