Agree socks and high heels are a definite no-no.
Tell the fish I was asking for her and hope everything is okay. and tell her you are going to wear CROCS and socks and posh trousers!!!

Cammelia · 16/10/2008 17:29

I do

Cammelia · 16/10/2008 17:29

go barefoot that it

BBBee · 16/10/2008 17:34

I wear fishnet (nude) and they do stop them hurting as toe is protected and - well they work.

BBBee · 16/10/2008 17:35

AS IN NUDE COLOUR FISHNET NOT - YOU KNOW - I WEAR THEM IN THE NUDE (OXYMORON)

nailpolish · 17/10/2008 12:21

lol @ "i wear fishnet nude"

OP posts:
BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 17/10/2008 12:28

do nude fishnets not look like some kind of skin problem?

feeble · 17/10/2008 12:31

I get round it by wearing smart boots with socks instead of shoes. Cant stand the feeling of barefeet in shoes and knee highs are just so unsexy!

Ewe · 17/10/2008 12:32

I think wearing fishnet pop socks/knee highs is even worse to be honest, really not a look I like.

The nude coloured ones are better IMO. Would not be seen dead in footsies, they never ever work.

ComeOVeneer · 17/10/2008 12:34

Go for bare feet and get down to Boots. They do a range of sticky gel pads that you pop into your shoes to cushion the area that rubs etc.

ruddynorah · 17/10/2008 12:42

shoe solutions

Piati · 17/10/2008 12:43

Knee highs, definitely. Yeah they look naff - but who's going to see?!

ComeOVeneer · 17/10/2008 12:46

What are these for????

ruddynorah · 17/10/2008 12:48

for mules

nailpolish · 17/10/2008 12:50

omg veneer what are they for?

ruddynorah - i just cant bring myself to wear those

OP posts:
Zebraa · 17/10/2008 13:21

If you're wearing heels with trousers, just go barefoot. If it's absolutely freezing out, wear boots.

nailpolish · 17/10/2008 13:23

i dont liek boots tbh

they are for mature ladies who shop at next

imo

although i am mature myself

OP posts:
ruddynorah · 17/10/2008 13:28

i don't understand the problem with ankle highs. if it's the turn off problem then surely you put trousers on first, then the pop socks. and when you undress take your pop socks off first, then your trousers. so you're not exactly standing around naked but for your pop socks!

am i missing the point here?!

i dunno.

Zebraa · 17/10/2008 14:32

Boots? I have loads of boots, I like to think I'm somewhat trendy and I'm only 26!

citronella · 17/10/2008 15:38

Tip: if you go bare foot put a dusting of talc in the shoe/on your foot.

halia · 17/10/2008 17:03

I think bare feet can look worse - especially if they are bony and white. It relaly depends on the shoe and the feet in question DH LIKES the knee highs in nearly opaque black or funky 'fashion' patterns so I mix those with hold ups or bare feet.

Green wedges in summer with jeans get bare feet, round toe black high heels with trousers in winter get knee highs.

bozza · 18/10/2008 11:32

Are you sorted yet? I kind of agree with you on the boots. Although I do like boots, but worn with skirts or dresses or even skinny jeans. But the ankle boot and jeans look is a bit dull.
