I thought cream but wasn't totally sure, I found some on the debenhams site but have no idea what trapeze trousers are

Thanks

LOvely Cardigan, nice trousers too (am also ignorant of "trapeze" trousers!).

Grey/Charcoal would be nice too

Cream look good (does 'trapeze' just mean 'wide legged', do you think?). Have you got the top already, or have seen it in rl? Just that the pattern looks a bit green-ish.

Agree re grey. Maybe, if you could find the right sort of inky purple, that might work too, a darker shade of the ribbon at the waist.

LisaLessLumpy · 15/10/2008 13:29

I think grey/charcoal would work better than cream.

Should say it is for DSs Baptism, so needs to be formalish ...

Not seen top in RL, not sure where a LA clohes store is around here, have a feeling Windsor closed down...

I thought trapeze as in trapezium shape... then I thought trapeze at the cirus - I don't want to go in comedy clown trousers!

This pair from Principles might be just the thing.

Or this paler pair? They're in the sale but there's only size 10 left online. Might be other sizes hanging around in stores though.

I'm guessing Trapeze cut means almost triangular. High waist which is much narrower than the hem. I have a lovely brown pair from Principles and they're really swishy around the ankles when I walk.

Amandoh · 15/10/2008 13:36

Not ankles actually as they'd be to short! Swishy around the heels I mean.
