Need some smart black shoes/boots for work, suitable for pregnant ladies

Starting new office based job in November and my trusty black shoes have given up the ghost.

Need something:

  • smart
  • low or no heel as am 16 wks pg
  • black
  • preferably boots or closed shoes, can't get on with pumps etc, I get cold feet!

I mostly wear trousers to work, but occasionally a dress might make an appearance so something that can be worn over tights/leggings would be good.

Please help MN style queens!

god I'm wearing k-swiss trainers in my office today [37+4!]

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 13/10/2008 12:47

thing is, it's a new job so I don't want to turn up in trainers on my first day!

particularly as they're a bit miffed about me being pg.

need to make a thoroughly professional impression. trouble is, all I want to wear is jogging bottoms and big jumpers.

You need to go to clarks

I had to wear smart black shoes in my old job, and clark's school shoes saw me through both pregnancies .... are your feet small enough to get away with this?

cocoleBOO · 13/10/2008 12:50

I got footglove slip ons in M+S for £19 they were down from £35, Very comfy.

funnily enough, the ones that have just bitten the dust were Clarks.

A bit clumpy, but the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

RIP shoes.

shall go surf the Clarks website.
