Ballet flats

Are ballet flats totally out or can i still wear them with jeans?

am off to paris !!! (over excited) tomorrow and could really do with wearing them for comfort etc - but obviously don't want to be completely out of date and dorkey

perfect in Paris! they aren't nearly as slavishly trendy as us over there.

(ps one of my best friends is Parisian, her uniform, so to speak, is ballet flats, jeans, long-sleeve tee, fitted blazer and - I kid you not scarf around the neck)

Thanks - I wont be adopting the scarf - but the shoes are sooo practical and smartish...enjoy Barcelona the weather there should be great
