I bought some fleece ones from primark £5 very very warm but I look like the biggest chav on the planet.

Carmenere · 06/10/2008 16:08

Primark have brushed cotton ones that are cheap and lovely.

Ta ladies.

While we're on the subject I could do with some slippers as well.

If you feel in need of a treat - hush are lovely, but agree that for value for money you can't beat primark - theirs are just as good.

DomesticBlobess · 06/10/2008 21:20

If you go to primark for pjs - they also sell imitation ugg boots for £4 - currently wearing them as slippers - lovely and toasty. Not sure I would feel ok about wearing £4 boots out of the house, but love them as slippers.

MorrisZapp · 07/10/2008 11:34

If you can bear to shop in Primark, they sell 'flanelette' traditional type PJs for £4.

I'm currently loving the ones in pink with brown spots - I challenge anybody to tell they didn't come from a fancy catalogue.

Go one size down as they are big made. Also, despite being thick and fluffy, they dry within an hour if placed on the central heating radiator.

I've worn Primark pj's for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I love them!

bikerunski · 07/10/2008 12:30

Land's End too, but can't compete with Primark on price.

muddleduck · 08/10/2008 21:56

Thanks for all these suggestions, but I still haven't found quite what I want. I want to buy online so Primark isn't really an option. Also I have a bit of birthday money that I'd like to put towards getting something really nice. The hush ones come close but I'm hoping to find something that I'll really love rather than just like iyswim.

Any more suggestions?
