boys have been wering their cotton lined waterproofs but it's starting to fel very chilly now.

ds1 needs a new coat-ds2's from last year should be ok.

but if i pull them out now-will they feel the benefit whenit gets REALLY cold?

also vests? it's roasting in school so will vests be too much? but cold outside? it's all a bit of a conundrum.

DS had been wearing a lined waterproof but it was so cold when I opened the door today that I had to put on the buggy snuggle (or whatever it's called) before we headed out to nursery.

So he ended up wearing a vest, jumper and coat, under the fleecey blanket. Looked very cosy (although he won't keep gloves on so still got freezing cold hands).

i have these

the girls have these

DH refuses to wear slippers as he says they are for jessie boys.

No vests here in the North West yet, but winter coats are on.

DS is still in shorts though. We don't move into long trousers until there is frost on the ground. A bit like sprouts.

mmj - friend's boys have the Zara coat and I couldn't believe it when she said it was £12.99! If i wasn't working today I'd have been down there to get one as ds has gone in again in just a light raincoat and he's going to be freezing.
