I am 5' 9", size 18-20, size 8 feet. These work for me

Levante Extra (I buy Levante as they do an extra tall so that being a slimmish tall person they still stay up), or Levee WoMan (OK, so they may be targeted at cross dressers, but it means that they are long, full in the body, and big in the feet). Stocked at MyTights

silkies are good I agree. Mum bought me about 100 pairs a few years ago. Never bought any since. Mind you I don't wear tights if I can possibly avoid it.
