So which bits do you like to show, and which hide? And rough budget?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/10/2008 22:32

No legs no arms, am short as well so nice smart trousers or long skirt, with a longish top budget about £150 as will keep in cupboard for a long time

I had an idea about this skirt www.sixteen47.com/skirts/51010.html

That skirt's really pretty. Might be difficult to match the colour for a top though. You should be fine to fit Monsoon size 20s.

nappyaddict · 02/10/2008 22:41

lovely colour

comes in black too

bargain

gorge but not sure on etiquette of wearing black to a christening

maybe a bit too old lady?

nappyaddict · 02/10/2008 22:43

and you can wear a pashmina, shrug, jacket, cardie etc over the top.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/10/2008 22:43

Like the second one, must come back to you tomorrow, got to feed DS and get to bed as early breakfasts but big thank you for your help.

How about something like this with a grey skirt, or a velvet skirt with this top?

JackieNo · 02/10/2008 22:56

How about a dress, in the teal, or black - I think black's fine for a christening.

JackieNo · 02/10/2008 22:58

Or this in the purple?

nappyaddict · 02/10/2008 23:08

another purple one

if you are ok with black this is nice as is this

not sure about the flower..

jewel trim

FiveGoMadInDorset · 03/10/2008 09:09

Wow, thank you, I love that gery skirt that you found so will have a good look at that again.

Thank you both for your help.

nappyaddict - you're on a roll there.

More stuff:
darker colours but a nice shape (and good quality stuff).
Ditto this,
Lovely skirt but rather £££.

Maybe some wide legged trousers with a tunic?
Sequin tunic
Or another lovely top
Same sort of shape but maybe a bit more casual.
