I have the Jane Iredale pressed powder one, which you apply with a sponge. Excellent coverage, but also v. light. I like it a lot.

Megglevache · 06/10/2008 13:31

I used one (fairy cheap I think Revlon) which was wonderful in the summer but really looks very chalky and wrong now the weather is colder and my skin drier.

I have given in and tried some Vitalumiere and it is amazing (I am so old and haggy looking these days). I'm going to buy some. It has been raved about on MN for an age, it takes me a while to catch on

I agree, it's Ok if you have oily skin. In fact helps control the shine a bit I find.

I only have the l'oreal one.

Thinking about it, the L'Oreal one I have was fine on my summer holiday when my skin was naturally a bit shinier in the heat. It is since I got home that it started to look cakey.

DomesticBlobess · 06/10/2008 14:35

Love the lilylolo foundation - quick to apply and really natural looking and I've had no more spots since using it! Try it, I was sceptical but the testers are cheap enough - like their eyeshadow and blusher too.

Szyslak · 06/10/2008 15:55

I have oredered a tester from lilylolo and the concealer. Anyone tried this?

DB did you have many spots before using it? My skin is bad at the moment and it's getting me down.

suzywong · 06/10/2008 15:58

so what you are saying is:
dry mature fine lines skin - frightening
shiny oily summer skin - delightful

is that correct?
