HELP - All 3 dc's need to dress up in early 1900's clothing

The school is 100 years old soon, and so in December, the whole school is going to the Black Country Museum for the day and have to dress in early 1900's clothing.

Have had a lok on the net and it says that this period was victorian/edwardian.

Was thinking of this for dd2, and this for dd1, with a long sleeved top under neath and an apron over the top of the dress ???

Any good ?

Any ideas for Ds, who will be 6 ?? Needs to be something warm really.

Bumping, as it it dissapeared from active convos at lightening speed.

Could Ds wear a knitted jumper, or is that not right ??

school trousers, or grey/black, with a stripy blue/white shirt with waistcoat and flat cap (boots if poss). Thats what they seems to wear at victorian wkends etc...

The dds will be fine. Clumpy shoes (lace-up) best if you can.

Ds - dark trousers, white shirt (with a grandad collar maybe?), waistcoat, flat cap. little scarf tied at neck. Shoes shoes.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. Just hope it isn't too cold.

If it is cold, could ds wear a thin jumper under his waistcoat? (roll-neckly type), then you would only see his arms, esp if he has a little scarf as well?
